Improve quality and remove chemistry

Business Print & Design in Wrexham has invested in a Glunz & Jensen PlateWriterTM 2000. The family run business "wanted to improve print quality and remove chemistry from the plate making process."

"The PlateWriter has replaced a polyester CtP system which was expensive to run and maintain," explains Peter Swann. "They were attracted to the very low running costs of the PlateWriter and with energy prices rising they wanted to capitalise on the environmental savings the Glunz & Jensen PlateWriter can bring.

SPS installed its PlateWriter in 2009 and says that it is “tremendously reliable”. The company purchased it from Intec Printing Solutions in Poole, Dorset and Mr Cullingworth was pleased with “the high standard of very useful training” provided by Intec.
